Terms and Conditions

Terms: Upon approved credit the following items will apply: Invoices dated from the 25th of the month to and including those dated the 24th of the following month are subject to a cash discount of 2% if paid (postmarked) on or before the 10th of the subsequent month; net due the 24th of the same month. Cash discounts do not apply to transportation, special packaging, or other special preparation or handling charges.
Minimum Order: A minimum charge of $200.00 Distributor net billing, plus transportation charges will be made for each order.

Payment and Financial Responsibility: Pro rata payments shall become due with partial shipments. Where the distributor is responsible for any delay in shipment, the date of completion of goods, may be treated by AMFICO as the date of shipment for purposes of payment, completed goods shall be held at the Distributors cost and risk, and AMFICO shall have the right to invoice for reasonable storage and insurance expenses. AMFICO may decline to deliver except for cash, or stop goods in transit, whenever, for any reason, doubt as to a Distributor’s financial responsibility develops.

Cancellation, Suspension &Return Goods: Orders may be cancelled or suspended only with AMFICO’s written consent and upon terms that will indemnify AMFICO against loss. Orders involving non-catalog listed items, special specifications or excessive quantities of standard items may not be cancelled. On orders involving special specifications or on items not appearing in our catalog AMFICO reserves the right to ship and invoice a 10% quantity variance above or below the specified quantity on the order. Material may be returned for credit only as outlined in Section B.Credit will be issued in the form of material credit only. Cash refunds will not be made.

Packaging: Material will be packaged as AMFICO deems proper for protection against normal handling and an extra charge may be made for preservation, waterproofing, palletization, and similar protection of goods.

Claims: Claims for shortages or alleged erroneous charges must be presented to the factory office within 15 days after receipt of the material.

Warranty: AMFICO products are carefully inspected. However, it is impossible to detect all imperfections; therefore our guarantee is limited to replacement of any material proven to be defective.
Taxes: We reserve the right to add to the sales price any tax imposed by law on the sale of our products.
Prices: Prices are subject to change without notice. Any written quotations for specific quantities on items will be protected for (30) days from the date of such quotations. Any orders placed upon these specified quotations after the 30 day period will be subject to re-negotiation by the factory in Westwood, New Jersey, and will not necessarily be protected.
Freight: Full freight is allowed on shipments of 750 lbs. or on orders invoiced at $500.00. Shipments less than 750 lbs. or $500.00 will be shipped freight collect. Prepaid shipments will be routed by AMFICO to any point within the continental United States. Export shipments are F.O.B. point of embarkation. Special routing requests, ie: Air Freight, Air Express, will be shipped freight collect.
Export Packaging and Marking: Export packaging and marking available at extra charge of 5% of distributor net order value with minimum charge of $75.00.

General:

  • Packaging weights shown herein are approximate and can be used as a guide for shipping purposes.
  • Prices shown herein are Suggested New Resale Prices and are subject to change without notice. Transportation, delivery and minimum order factors are not included.
  • Unless otherwise stated, all products are screw machined. All steel products are Zinc ULElectroplated. All aluminum products are high strength copper free aluminum.

Return Policy:

  1. All material to be returned must be currently catalogued items, in new, unused, resaleable condition and in unopened cartons. Returns must be in minimum carton quantity. No broken cartons will be accepted.
  2. Credit will be issued at the purchased price, or current price in effect, whichever is lower, less restocking and refurbishing charge where appropriate. A minimum restocking, handling, clerical expense charge of 20% will apply to any return at customer convenience, regardless of size. Credit will be issued in the form of material credit only. Cash refunds will not be made.
  3. Returns must be made on a freight prepaid to destination basis. Material returned without authorization will not be accepted. Returns must be made freight prepaid directly to the factory, for inspection and final credit approval. Material must be returned within 45 days of authorization or the authorization will be voided.
  4. Material purchased more than 12 months prior to the return request will not be allowed return authorization.
  5. Credit will be allowed only on the quantities actually received by AMFICO.
